life can be hard sometimes

When home is not a safe place to stay, Kids in Crisis Outreach Counselors help children make the transition to a temporary stay at either of the two Kids in Crisis safe homes  - the Crisis Nursery for infants and young children and the Teen House, for adolescents.

The doors of Kids in Crisis are always open, staffed with trained professionals including social workers and counselors.  They provide a deep level of care and collaboration with an on-site medical team, including a full-time nurse practitioner, psychologist and psychiatrist and an education  team to make sure children are helped physically, emotionally and socially.
