Thank you for visiting this web-site. My name is Cheryl and from as far back as I can remember I have wanted to help out children and families in need. One person can make a difference in a childs life. It is the small efforts that make these differences. If we can help out one child at a time, then that is a life saved. This is when I dusted off my sewing machine and got creative. Soon the Family Tie Bands were born.
Our mission is to raise awareness of the positive impact one person can have on a childs life, let that person be you. When you wear your Family Tie Band, you will be supporting the efforts needed to spread the word. I will donate the proceeds to Kids in Crisis. Neglect and abuse have devastating, long-term consequences, even on the youngest victims. Please help me help them.
The Family Tie Bands are handmade bracelets made from old ties, making each one unique. This symbolizes the vast differences in the economic status and needs of each of these children.
Together we can help the children's shelter called Kids in Crisis listed here on my web-site. After a tour of this shelter I was very humbled. I met a two week old baby that had to be taken from his mother at birth, due to extenuating circumstances. Seeing this very innocent baby being helped by volunteers and people like yourself made me hopeful that together we can help out one child at a time. There is not a donation of any kind that is too small. The need is ongoing, when one child leaves the program, there is another waiting to come in. This is why our continued support is essential.
